Ever wanted to get involved at the University of St. Michael’s College (USMC) but didn’t know how, or where to start? Well we’ve made it easy for you! Here is a list of some of the events taking place right here at USMC that you should definitely check out!

On November 16th, the first Classic Book Club meeting is taking place. This group meets three times a year and discusses classic novels that they have decided to read. If you enjoy reading for pleasure, this could be the perfect club for you! To sign up, email [email protected].

If sports are more your thing, why not join USMC Intramurals? There’s a bunch of sports to choose from! Winter sports registration opens up on November 20, so sign up if you want to get some exercise, and have some fun. Contact [email protected] for more details.

Do you like to preform? Do you have a talent that you’d like to showcase? Come to Kelly’s Korner! Similar to a talent show, Kelly’s Korner is a platform for USMC students to show what they can do. You do not have to preform, you can just go and enjoy the show. It’s a great place to meet other USMC students, and have a fun night. The next event will be taking place on November 29 in Father Madden Hall at 8 p.m., so don’t miss it!

Are you competitive? Do you enjoy a good board game? Pair-A-Dice will be hosting their monthly game night on November 30! Come for free pizza, and some friendly competition. Everyone needs a study break, so why not spend yours by playing a board game at St. Mike’s?

Finally, there is a food drive that is happening all throughout November. Bring your non-perishable food items to help a good cause. More information on this will be advertised soon, so keep your eyes peeled for posters around campus!

More events are always happening on campus that haven’t been planned yet, so follow SMCSU and The Mike on Facebook to keep up to date with what is happening at USMC!
