Need a way to brighten your Tuesdays on campus? Join the St. Mike’s Commuter Dons every Tuesday from 12 to 2 p.m. for free coffee, tea, and other goodies outside of the Commuter Don office by the Coop. There will also be an artistic activity for anyone who stops by.
Bell Let’s Talk Day at St. Michael’s College
This year, the University of St. Michael’s College (USMC) will be hosting an event surrounding the Bell Let’s Talk Mental Health campaign. It will take place in Brennan Hall in the Coop and will include food, activities, and a photo booth. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29, join the conversation and stop by USMC’s Bell Let’s Talk Day.
Off-Campus Housing Workshop
Have questions about rent or budgeting in Toronto? The Off-Campus Housing Workshop has answers. This workshop can help with any issues of rent, finding roommates, creating a budget, and finding a safe place to call your new home. The workshop is run by Housing Services to ensure you get all the information you need to rent in Toronto. The workshop will take place on Thursday, February 13, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tickets for the event are available here. For Valentine’s Day celebrations, students can bake treats in the St. Basil’s Basement Kitchen or make a Valentine’s card for a loved one. From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, February 13, spread holiday cheer with your St. Mike’s community.
SMC Troubadours Present Guys & Dolls
This special event will include the SMC Troubadours for their opening night of Guys & Dolls on Thursday, February 13, from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Hart House Theatre. If you are an alumnus who is interested in attending, email in advance in order to be a part of the special itinerary designated for alumni. Tickets are available via Eventbrite. The Festival by USMC Commuter Dons
On Wednesday, March 25, the USMC Commuter Dons will be hosting their event “The Festival.” This will feature desserts and games to celebrate the end of the semester. Join the USMC community at Elmsley Place from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and relax and play some fun games.
