Have you made sure that all of the makeup in your makeup bag is cruelty free? Unlike when grocery shopping, where It is almost too easy to choose the organic or non-GMO option for the food we purchase, information about beauty products often requires a bit more research. Of course, there are companies that brand themselves with their corporate social responsibility, including Lush and Aveda; however, most brands aren’t so vocal with their ethics.
To help you navigate through your next makeup shopping spree, The Mike has narrowed down the top cruelty-free beauty brands to include in your makeup routine. We have selected eight ethical brands, both drugstore and more luxurious, to allow for more responsible shopping regardless of your budget. The following brands do not engage with or support animal testing through the use of any of their products and avoid engagement with suppliers who either work with companies or themselves are responsible for animal testing.
School is stress inducing, but your makeup routine doesn’t need to be; hopefully the following list will allow you to apply your makeup with a clear conscience.
